According to Dr. Theresa Tam, a top medical official, the social distancing efforts made from Canadians is successfully flattening the curve. In addition, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is consulting New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on the interplay between conserving the economy from a standstill while also combating the virus. This optimistic news comes in light of the Ontario Premier Doug Ford criticizing the anti-lockdown protesters at Queen’s Park today for flying the Canadian flag upside down and wonders whether they should be fined for any violation of social distancing restrictions.
