Restrictions started being lifted across the country with Quebec, the hardest hit province, reopening elementary schools and daycares outside the Montreal area. However, the school board does expect that most students will be staying home, with attendance being optional. Ontario will be allowing more business to open if they offer curbside pickup. British Columbia is lifting restrictions on retail outlets, restaurants, salons and museums within the coming week. In the middle of the country Alberta is lifting restrictions this week, while Saskatchewan and Manitoba have already started to open last week.
