Five Canadian Forces members working in long-term care homes test positive for COVID-19

The Canadian Forces report that five members working in long-term care homes have tested positive for COVID-19. Four are in Quebec and one is in Ontario. In total, there are 1,700 members now working in 25 long-term care homes in Quebec and five in Ontario. They have all been equipped with PPE and training in how to use it. The Prime Minister said that hazard pay is being considered for troops deployed in nursing homes similar to what they would get on a dangerous assignment overseas.
