Today, Ontario’s health ministry reported 415 new cases of COVID-19. 192 of the cases are new, while 223 were from a lag in reporting between laboratories and public health units. This brings the cumulative provincial total to 30,617 cases, with 2,426 deaths and 24,252 recoveries. These numbers follow the province’s announcement to extend its emergency orders until June 19. The orders include a ban on people dining in restaurants and bars, and a ban on gatherings of more than five people.
